Wikis

Wikis are an important tool for improving collaboration and information distribution

As part of my role, I have opportunities to create a wiki from scratch as well as update and reorganize existing wikis. Wikis are an essential tool for improving inter-deparmental and inter-team collaboration and communications. I have also written wiki articles for both internal and external consumption, as well as copy-edited existing articles. 

The key, as with any written piece, is to know your audience. Learning the syntax and structure of a given wiki-type is easy - coming up with solid content that is organized, searchable and USEFUL is the more difficult task.
