I have written many different types of documentation, each presenting their own challenges.Â
Before endeavoring on any writing project, I do a thorough analysis of:
who the target audience is
what information needs to be presented
when the deliverable must be completed
what the best format is for the published end-product
I use this roadmap to keep my focus throughout the entire project.
As part of my role, I interview SMEs and work with stakeholders to ensure that accurate information is presented to the audience in a format they can both understand and use.
